  • 3 cups peeled and sliced apples
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. For the crust, mix graham cracker crumbs with sugar and melted butter. Press into a springform pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  3. Prepare the apple layer by tossing sliced apples with brown sugar and cinnamon; spread over the cooled crust.
  4. For the cheesecake filling, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth, add eggs one at a time, then stir in sour cream and vanilla. Pour over the apples.
  5. Bake for 60-70 minutes until nearly set; cool completely before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
  6. Make the salted caramel sauce by melting sugar until golden, mixing in butter and cream gradually, then adding sea salt.
  7. Serve chilled with caramel drizzled on top.
