  • 2 tbsp Whole Milk
  • 2 cups Sifted Powdered Sugar
  • 1/8 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. Warm milk to 100–115ºF. In a bowl, combine milk, yeast, and brown sugar; let it froth for 5 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually add this to the yeast mixture along with pumpkin puree and melted butter; stir until combined.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl and let rise covered for about an hour until doubled.
  4. Prepare filling by mixing sugars and spices in a small bowl.
  5. Roll out risen dough into a rectangle and spread softened butter over it. Sprinkle filling evenly and roll tightly into a log.
  6. Cut into six equal pieces and place cut-side up in a greased baking dish. Let rise again for about 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 350ºF (175ºC) and bake for around 25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. While baking, prepare frosting by beating maple syrup with softened butter and gradually adding powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
  9. Drizzle frosting over warm rolls before serving.
