  • 1 1/4 cups caster sugar
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp fine salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • For frosting: Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, strawberry essence, pink food dye

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare muffin tin with liners.
  2. Mix dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, salt) in one bowl.
  3. In another bowl, combine wet ingredients (butter, eggs, milk, oil, yogurt, vanilla) until smooth.
  4. Gradually mix wet into dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Divide batter into three parts; add cocoa powder to one part (chocolate), strawberry essence and food dye to another (strawberry), and keep the third as vanilla.
  6. Spoon each flavor into muffin tins in layers or swirls.
  7. Bake for 15–20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean; cool on a wire rack.
  8. Frost with buttercream and add toppings like candy balls and sprinkles.
