  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 large Onion, diced
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 (15-ounce) can Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 (15-ounce) can Tomato Sauce
  • 8 ounces Bowtie Pasta
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1/2 cup Ricotta Cheese
  • 2 ounces Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • Fresh Parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté diced onion until softened; add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Stir in diced tomatoes (with juice), tomato sauce, chicken broth, water, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for about 20 minutes.
  5. In the last 5 minutes of cooking, stir in uncooked bowtie pasta until al dente.
  6. Remove from heat and mix in ricotta cheese until blended. Serve hot topped with mozzarella and parsley.
