  • 1 pound ground chuck
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can petite diced tomatoes
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 cup water
  • 8 hot dogs
  • 8 low carb tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch casserole dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine cooked ground chuck, petite diced tomatoes, water, and spices. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 8-10 minutes until thickened.
  3. Spread about ½ cup of the chili sauce in the bottom of the baking dish. Roll each hot dog in a low carb tortilla and place them seam-side down over the sauce.
  4. Pour the remaining chili sauce over the hot dogs and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
