  • 1 pound broccoli (cut into florets)
  • 1 rotisserie chicken (shredded)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil (chopped)
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200C/390F.
  2. Boil the broccoli florets in water for 3-5 minutes until al dente. Drain and combine with shredded chicken in a large mixing bowl.
  3. In a small saucepan, heat cream cheese, heavy cream, almond milk, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper over low heat while whisking until smooth.
  4. Pour the creamy sauce over the chicken and broccoli mixture and mix well.
  5. Transfer to a casserole dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake for 20-30 minutes until heated through and golden brown on top.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
