  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon pineapple juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup fresh pineapple, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Combine soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, rice vinegar, pineapple juice, and seasonings in a bowl; set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink; remove from skillet.
  3. Sauté garlic and ginger in the same skillet until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  4. Add the sauce mixture to the skillet and simmer for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Return shrimp to the skillet; toss to coat with sauce and allow to simmer for another minute.
  6. Stir in chopped pineapple and cook for an additional minute.
