Ingredients

  • 4 large boneless skin-on chicken breast halves (1012 ounces each)
  • 3 tablespoons finely minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ cup chopped fresh basil
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine minced garlic, salt, chopped basil, and olive oil to create a marinade.
  2. Generously coat both sides of each chicken breast with the marinade and place in a zip lock bag. Seal and refrigerate for at least four hours.

  4. Grill skin side down for 8-10 minutes, turning 90 degrees halfway through for grill marks.
  5. Flip chicken over once crispy and cook on a cooler part of the grill until reaching an internal temperature of 155°F.
  6. Allow resting loosely covered with foil for five minutes before serving.
