1/2 cup hoisin sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 inch ginger, minced
1 star anise
2 scallions, chopped
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
Marinate beef belly: In a bowl, mix hoisin sauce, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and star anise. Coat beef thoroughly and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
