  • 10 g butter

  1. Prepare the pâte sucrée by mixing flour, powdered sugar, and salt in a bowl. Add cold butter until crumbly, then mix in the egg until combined. Chill for 30 minutes.
  2. For the compote, melt butter in a pan and add chopped apples and sugar. Cook until soft; cool slightly.
  3. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Roll out the chilled dough and fit into a tart pan. Spread the cooled apple compote over the base.
  4. Arrange thinly sliced apples decoratively on top, brush with melted butter, and bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
