  • 4 slices Center Cut Turkey Bacon
  • 1 White Onion, finely diced
  • 1 Poblano or Bell Pepper, finely diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 pound Turkey Breakfast Sausage
  • 1 packet Chili Seasoning
  • 28 oz can Fire Roasted Crushed Tomatoes
  • 34 cups Beef Broth (to desired consistency)

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in a Dutch oven over medium heat until crispy. Transfer to paper towels to drain.
  2. In the remaining drippings, sauté the diced onion and bell pepper for 2-3 minutes until softened. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 30-60 seconds.
  3. Add the raw turkey sausage to the pot, breaking it apart, and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in crushed tomatoes, chili seasoning, beef broth, and crumble in the cooked turkey bacon. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 45-60 minutes.
