  • 3 black olives (for eyes)
  • Piece of a red bell pepper (for tongues)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for brushing)
  • 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350° F.
  2. Cut black olives into small pieces for the eyes and slice the red bell pepper into forked tongues.
  3. Unroll the pizza dough and cut it into 12 strips.
  4. Roll each strip into a 12-inch rope, tapering one end for the tail and flattening the other for the head.
  5. Wrap each rope around a greased chopstick or metal straw in a spiral shape.
  6. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with poppy seeds and sesame seeds.
  7. Place olive pieces on each snake's head as eyes.
  8. Bake on parchment-lined baking sheets for approximately 11 to 15 minutes until golden brown. Allow cooling briefly before removing chopsticks, then poke red pepper pieces into the heads as tongues.
